Houston, Texas – A person was killed in an automobile wreck by a suspected drunk driver in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
Fox26 reports the suspected intoxicated driver was traveling on Highway 6 at a high rate of speed and collided with an unidentified motorist that was exiting a gas station. The driver showed signs of intoxication and was detained. Chief of the Harris County District Attorney's Office Vehicular Crimes Division, Sean Teare, stated his office has accepted a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
The fatal accident occurred at 1 a.m. near the intersection at Westpark and S. Highway 6.
The investigation into this fatal crash remains ongoing.
